Chrismon Chorale is a nonprofit volunteer organization that depends on member dues and donor support from individuals, businesses, organizations, and other entities, to maintain and to expand its choral mission and ministry. Donations can be designated to the General Operating Fund, or to underwrite Particular Needs that include the following:
Professional Musicians ($4,000)
Each concert, the Chorale hires four to six outstanding professional musicians to enrich the musical and artisitic presentation. Each $400 donation reimburses one musician.
Goal: 10 donations of $400
Dues for singers 30 years of age and younger ($2,250)
To attract 10-15 qualified young singers, annual dues of $150 are waived for singers ages 30 and under. Each $150 donation provides a scholarship for a young singer.
Goal: 15 donations of $150
Music ($1,000)
New music is costly, and while the Chorale owns an extensive music library, performing new sacred compositions and supporting new composers, remains essential to our mission.
Goal: 10 donations of $100
Youth Choirs ($800)
Investing in children’s and youth choirs, by inviting them to participate in our concerts, is vital to the Chorale’s mission of inspiring young singers to sing for a lifetime.
Goal: 8 donations of $100
Anyone wishing to donate funds to the General Operating Fund to support the administrative and choral mission of the Chorale and/or to Designate Funds to sponsor a specific need of the Chorale should communicate with the Chorale’s Financial Secretary, currently Stacey Urbanz (email: treasurer@chrismon-chorale.org) to personally thank you and to obtain your name and contact information. Then we can appropriately recognize your contribution in our concert programs and website. You may also have your donation listed as “Anonymous.”
Those who provide funds as donors and/or sponsors will be recognized according to the following categories:
Patron: ≥ $1,000
Benefactor: $500 to $999
Friend: $250 to $499
Contributor: $100 to $249
